Giants sweep Monarchs, to face White Sox in Quarter Finals

Giants move forward in playoffs after dominating the Monarchs in the best of 3 series

The Lambrick Giants were able to put together pitching and offence for the first two games of the best of 3 Wild Card Series of the 2023 SIBL playoffs, negating a winner take all game 3 situation.

They outscored their opponents 21-6 over the span of the series, winning 11-2 and 10-4 over the games on July 16th and 17th that were split between Layritz Park and Joe Stephenson Field. They have now secured their place in the Quarter Finals against the top seeded Lambrick White Sox (13-3).

This series will be held exclusively at Joe Stephenson Field, with games on the following dates:

• Game 1 on July 22 @ 3:00PM

• Game 2 on July 24 @ 6:30PM

• Game 3 on July 26 @ 6:30PM

• Game 4 (if necessary) on July 28 @ 6:30PM

• Game 5 (if necessary) on July 29 @ 6:30PM
